Olive soap: The fruit originates from the century-old olive groves of Mediterranean countries such as Italy, Spain, and Greece. The olive oil is obtained from this fruit through mechanical processes like pressing and centrifugation, and it is certified to be of organically grown quality. When saponified with potassium hydroxide, the olive oil becomes the main constituent of Sonett's Olive Laundry Liquid for Wool and Silk. Olive oil is the best raw material for making mild soap, and it has a well-balanced composition of fatty acids that can restore the deficient protective hydrolipidic film. The remarkable growth cycle of the olive tree, which spans 7 years, demonstrates the special proximity and relationship of this oil to humans.

Rapeseed oil / sunflower oil soap: Vegetable oils, such as rapeseed and sunflower, are saponified with potassium hydroxide to intensify the washing performance. Rapeseed is one of the few oil-yielding plants that are cultivated for oil production in our temperate central European climate, and it is also certified to be organically grown. Flax and sunflower are other oil-yielding plants that are used in this process.

Ethanol: Ethanol is derived from the fermentation of starch-containing plants like maize and potatoes. It helps keep the soap liquid while simultaneously improving the fat-dissolving property of the detergent.

Sugar surfactant: The raw materials for the sugar surfactant used in the detergent are sugar, starch, and coconut oil. The proportion of sugar surfactant compared to the soap content is such that it serves to keep the calcium soap, which forms in case of hard water, finely dispersed and prevents it from being deposited on the laundry.

The detergent is: - Purely vegetable, without any petrochemical ingredients - Free from fragrances, colorings, and complexing agents - Preservative-free, enzyme-free, and non-GMO - Completely biodegradable
