Connecting an eGPU Breakaway Puck to your Intel-based MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, iMac or iMac Pro provides a significant graphics processing boost, cutting rendering times and enhancing workflows in pro editing, rendering, color grading, animating and special effects applications.

These Portable External GPU (eGPU) Docks support up to three 4K displays, including one Thunderbolt display, as well as the 6K Apple Pro Display XDR. They feature one DisplayPort 1.4 port, one HDMI 2.0 port, and one Thunderbolt 3 monitor port. However, they are not compatible with Windows or Windows Bootcamp.

The eGPU Breakaway Puck Radeon RX 5500 XT offers 4GB GDDR6 video memory, while the Radeon RX 5700 model has 8GB GDDR6. Both provide two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one 4-pin power DIN socket, one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, and two USB Type A ports. They also charge laptops with up to 60W of power.
